Start: Jumla Bazaar (2,305m) – The race begins in the historic town of Jumla, one of the highest rice-growing regions in the world, rich in cultural heritage and local traditions. Challenging Ascents & Descents – Runners navigate steep trails, rugged mountain paths, and high-altitude terrains, testing endurance and resilience. Forests & Scenic Trails – The course passes through dense pine, oak, and rhododendron forests, offering breathtaking views of the Karnali region’s untouched wilderness. Traditional Villages & Local Culture – The route winds through remote villages, Temples, Stupas providing a glimpse into the unique lifestyle and warm hospitality of the Jumli people. High Passes & Alpine Landscapes – The trail features challenging climbs with panoramic views of the Rara, the largest lake of Nepal, snow-capped Himalayas of Nepal and China, making it both demanding and rewarding.
