HARC Challenge Hike

The event—Hike from Washington Monument State Park to Harper's Ferry on a beautiful, 20 mile section of the Appalacian Trail.

Lunch, snacks, drinks, full support and transporation from the end point on the AT is provided.

New this year:

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion with group photo following the hike. Participants who complete the Challenge Hike will get their name posted on our Wall of Fame webpage!

Check-in Location—7:00 a.m. at 6132 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713 (old South Mountain Inn parking lot). You will be shuttled to the start point from there.

This is a strenuous hike on uneven, unpaved foot trails. Hikers must be in good physical shape and able to walk 2.5 to 3 miles per hour for approximately 10 hours (with breaks).
