Hair of the Bear 15K

ShawneeCraft Brewing Co. Presents the Hair of the Bear 15K & 5K!  We are excited to continue the tradition as we celebrate the 6th Year of this Good Day for a Run race hosted by ShawneeCraft Brewing Co. located in the beautiful and tranquil Pocono Mountains. 
Combine Running, Fun, and Relaxation at Shawnee Inn and ShawneeCraft Brewing Co. 
The Run:

2 Courses:

5K Course is on property and neighboring roads of Shawnee Inn - Finish at ShawneeCraft Brewery

15K Course Starts/Finishes at the Brewery, and include about 5 miles on the beautiful and well maintained McDade Trail system along the Delaware River. 


15K Race includes approximately 4 miles of paved roads.  5K race is 90% paved.

Professionally Chip Timed Races start at 9 AM.  

Water Stations and Course Marshals at important course locations  

The Post Race Fun:

Race finishers enjoy a Brunch Buffet provided by Shawnee Inn - INCLUDED!

1 Complimentary ShawneeCraft Beer (Over 21 proof required) (Soda available at finish for age <21)

Live Music in the Brewery that begins at 9:45 AM and continues after the awards at the post-race party

Award Medals for Top 3 Overall and Age Group Winners (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years)

Race day Packet Pick-Up from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" Tent at ShawneeCraft brewery.

Spectators welcome. Food and beer available for purchase after race.
