Gunni Hi Tri

The Gunnison Valley Triathlon, organized by the Gunnison Parks & Recreation Department, is a family-friendly sprint event for kids and adults. Participants start with a swim at the Community & Aquatics Center, progress to a bike ride on a designated asphalt route, and conclude with a run along the scenic Van Tuyl Trail. The transition zone is set east of the pool. Every registered participant receives a t-shirt, and top finishers in each age category earn medals. The post-race celebration features an award ceremony, food, beverages, and a garden for refreshments. For more information, contact Andy Eflin.
