Gavin's Fight CDH 5K - Derby, CT

Gavin's FIGHT CDH 5K is the 2024 fundraising event of the Gavin Connery Foundation for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) research and awareness. CDH is a birth defect which occurs about 1 in every 2,500 babies.  Children that do survive are often left with lifelong residual effects. These children fight an incredible battle in the first days and months of their lives, something we experienced first hand with our son Gavin. There is no known cause or cure for CDH at this time.  Awareness of the disease to increase funding for research is what we strive to do. Come join us on October 12, 2024 for a fun run/walk to raise awareness and funds for further research. The event will be taking place at the scenic Derby Greenway. There will be a 3.1 mile run or walk or a 1.18 mile walk.
