Ed Anacker Bridger Ridge Run

The Ed Anacker Bridger Ridge Run is a challenging footrace along the Bridger Mountains near Bozeman, Montana. Managed by the Big Sky Wind Drinkers running club, this non-profit event relies on numerous volunteers for its operation. Participants face a rugged course featuring unstable footing and unpredictable weather, requiring mountain running experience. Aid stations, staffed by volunteers, provide limited support and participants must carry necessary supplies, including water vessels. The event restricts entries, implementing a registration lottery prioritizing community involvement. Those unable to race can roll over entries to the following year. The race concludes at a celebration with snacks and awards.
