9th Annual Crown and Sash Dash

A fun event that gives you an opportunity to let loose and break out the formalwear hanging in the back of your closet.  Celebrate the Kewaunee County Fair.

 FORMAL WEAR IS NOT REQUIRED

Where:  Kewaunee County Fair / Kewaunee County Fairgrounds by the Exhibition building (use entrance on 3rd Street for this event) 

The Course: It begins at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds and will turn on 1st Street, right on Ralph Street, cross Main Street, and will proceed to the Ahnapee Trail. The runners will then head up Main Street (coming off the trail by Billy’s on Main) and will turn right on Church Street, turn right onto Second Street and follow it to Elm St then back to the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds. Strollers & wheelchairs welcome.

Race Day:  

*Packet pick-up Saturday morning

*Register at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds (3rd Street entrance) from 6:30-8:15 am.    

*Run/walk starts at 8:30am

 Perks/Prizes:      

* Awards to the Top male/female finishers 

* T-shirt & Medal (only early registration is guaranteed)

* Kewaunee County Fair (Saturday only) wrist band which includes free carnival rides, free grandstand and music

* Free drinks after the dash.

* Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed male & female in the following age groups:  Little Tikes division:6 years and under; Youth division:7-12 years of age; Teen division:13-17 years of age; Adults 18 years of age and above.

Everyone participating in the run/walk MUST wear a Kewaunee County Fair Wristband to finish the race on the Fairgrounds. (Only season wristbands or Saturday daily wristbands will be accepted.)  Fair daily wristband or season wristband is required to attend the awards ceremony, NO EXCEPTIONS. Waivers must be signed.

Ages: All (children, adults, seniors, friends, families) are invited to participate in this 5K run/walk event. Encourage your family, friends, co-workers and organization, or club members to join in the fun! Strollers and wheelchairs are welcomed!

Who does the Crown and Sash Dash benefit?

Proceeds will benefit the Kewaunee County Fairest of the Fair Program

Prior to June 24th Early registered participants will receive t-shirts and Kewaunee County Fair admission(Saturday only) includes unlimited carnival rides, grandstand and music.

Early Registration: $20.00 Individual    $40.00 per family of 4 

After June 24th: $25.00 Individual    $50.00 per family of 4

June 24-July 10th 2021 : Participants will receive Kewaunee County Fair admission (Sat.only).

Early registration will guarantee a t-shirt.
