Über die Veranstaltung
CHHOP- Caring for the Hungry and Homeless of Peekskill continues their annual Turkey Trot with the addition of this one mile race starting at 9AM at the Gazebo in downtown Peekskill.
When this run started, you ran with a frozen turkey and donated it at the end of the race. Lately, more people drop the turkey near the start and then run the race. It has been less than a mile and not timed.
But this year we are adding a timed mile with awards. Racers will start first and run a full mile-it's basically a loop plus and out and back. The 'trotters' will do the loop and can then run through the finish, but not be timed. You can sign up for the untimed run by clicking HERE.
There will be a $20 fee for adults, while 18 and under run free. Donating a turkey is still the main idea of this day, so please bring one.
Race day registration will be limited.
