Autism Ability 10k

April is Autism awareness! Did you know Autism affects 1 in 68 children and 1 in 42 boys. Autism costs a family $60,000 a year on average. We have decided to dedicate part of our proceeds to Autism Tennessee. What better way to have fun and support a great cause! Come join us April 28th, 2024 for a nice scenic run through Edwin Warner Park Nashville TN for our 3rd Annual Event! We are back at our original location for next year, and we are excited that we are also bringing back our kids 1 Mile fun run, and age group awards! Course will be at Edwin Warner Park located off Vaughn Rd where the picnic shelters are located (9&10) located all the way in the back of park. See map link below of how to get to course.
This race will go rain or shine! There are no refunds allowed. All participants will receive finishers medal and t shirt. There will be trophy awards for overall top 3 runners for both 5k and 10k, 15k (new distance added) and medals for top 3 winners for age groups. Please note runners will have 3 hours to complete the course. Walkers are allowed given they complete in the 3 hours and will have to start after the 1st wave of runners. There will be restrooms inside the park, but none along the actual course except for near the shelter and park entrance area. There will be  aid stations along the course at starting location, mile marker 1, and 3, & 5. 
We will also be introducing a 1 mile kids fun run and medals for all finishers! Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the entire course for safety.

Sign up before /by March 1st to guarantee t-shirt. If you miss the cutoff, and we still have unclaimed shirts, please see registration tent to claim a shirt after completion of course.
 Bikes, hoverboards, rollerblades, pets are not allowed on the race course for safety of the public throughout the event. Walkers are welcome but must start in the back. "Service animals are welcome and must be on a leash and must start in the back to not disrupt runners and for safety. Please email us if you wish to run with your service animal.
We are looking for volunteers to help out at the aid stations, and registration and direct runners. If you or anyone is interested please sign up today in our volunteer link! Volunteers will receive shirts(while supplies last) and food post race!
