Viking 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon at Ben Geren Regional Park, Fort Smith, AR

This event is part of the US Road Running Club Race Series and runners do not need to be club members to participate. Club members receive a 50% discount on club races and a US Road Running shirt. For more information and to join, visit their website. The race begins at 8:30 AM, with packet pickup starting 30 minutes before the race and ending 10 minutes before. All runners must register on RunSignup, with no on-site registration available. Parking is available in the lot across from the playground. The course options include a 5K, 10K, 15K, and Half Marathon, each with their own out-and-back routes. The Half Marathon has a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Awards are given for top male and female finishers, with age group awards based on series points. All finishers receive a themed medal. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, with an award given for the best costume at the start of each race. Race rules include non-refundable entry fees, cancellation policy, no dogs on the course, and welcome walkers.
