swift bear trail run

We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Swift Bear Trail Run! It will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 during Hays Powwow in the beautiful Mission Canyon. There will be a 20 mile and 10 mile trail run, as well as a 1 mile run for youth. 

The 20 mile run is a loop in the mountains that consists of 2 track roads, gravel, and approximately 3 miles of pavement. 

Prizes will be given to the top male and female finishers in the 20 and 10 mile runs. 

All runs start and end on the east end of the powwow grounds; look for the check-in table. Runners will meet 30 minutes prior to start of each run at the starting line.
