Run with Neil

Get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for the fourth annual Run with Neil on October 12th at Scappoose High School!

We are excited to announce some great changes to the 2024 Run with Neil event. We have been given an amazing opportunity to team up with the Scappoose High School Cross Country team to put together the first annual Run with Neil Invitational. High school and middle school runners from all over the state will be coming to Scappoose to participate in this event and we cannot wait to support them! 

Before the invitational, we've got the annual 1k, 3k, and 5k open to everyone in the community. This is a great opportunity to get the whole family moving and support local youth as well as Run with Neil. 

We are Neil's runners now. He has passed the baton to us, and we are honored to begin the race of ensuring the youth of Scappoose have the resources to improve their physical and mental well-being. Funds raised will go directly to physical and mental health resources for school aged kids and to continue the Run with Neil Scholarship. Some of the ways we help are creating mentorships between youth of various ages, sponsorship of athletes to participate in camps aimed at improving physical and mental health and overcoming financial barriers to provide athletes with equipment to participate.

After the event, stick around and see local youth compete, enjoy food, booths from local vendors and free activities for kids and adults.
