Ronde Belle Isle

Join Michigan Junior Cycling Devo as we present Ronde Belle Isle.  A Road Race Around the iconic island. There is no elevation, making this is a race for everyone. We have the inside bike lane and will run the race with cones keeping the cars out where needed. There are beginner races to A. The A race in both male and female will take home the Bell Isle Belt! All other categories will take home prizes. Races start at 8 and we are all done by 12 Noon. Registration is open but prices increase as we get closer. 

The littlest juniors will get escorts as they race to keep them extra safe.

This is a USA Cycling sanctioned race, please have a valid license at time of the race, we will check. One day licenses are available thru registration. 

Belle Isle is a State Park. You will need a Parks Passport or buy a one day

Parking and registration and Port a Potties are in the Main Paddock area near the fountain. Start will be in front of the fountain to get the pictures! Please register early there will be no day of registration so I can make sure we have a safe race.

Race Information:
Racecourse: The course will be on open roads around Belle Isle park. We will stay in the bike lane where available but will use delineators where needed to keep us separated from traffic. Men Cat 5/ Novice 8:00 16.5 Miles
Women Cat 4 / Novice 8:01 16.5 Miles
Advanced Juniors  Boys 15-18 8:50 16.5 Miles (lower ages will be allowed to race if advanced)
Junior Girls 15-18 8:51 16.5 Miles
Junior Boys 12-14 8:52 11 Miles
Junior Boys and Girls 9-11 9:00 5.5 miles One lap escorted by coaches
B race Men Cat 3/4 Masters 45+ will start 9:50 
A Women 9:52 22 miles
A Men's Race 50 minutes plus one lap

Medals and merchandise for all categories, 
Bell Isle Championship Belt is up for grabs in the A race for Men and Women

You will need a state park passport to enter the park or buy a one day at the park (Get one with your license plate tags)
