Riverland Terrace 5K - SC

Join us for the inaugural Riverland Terrace 5K!

The inaugural Riverland Terrace 5K, presented by the Riverland Terrace Neighborhood Association and organized by the Friends of Plymouth Park, promises to be an exciting event!

The race is a family-oriented, pet-friendly 5k run/walk and kids fun run located in Riverland Terrace. All of the proceeds for this year's race benefit the Friends of Plymouth Park organization.  

The Friends of Plymouth Park is a community-based group of dedicated volunteers working together in partnership with the Charleston Parks Conservancy and the City of Charleston to revitalize and redevelop Plymouth Park in Riverland Terrace. Our goal is to foster community connection and childhood well-being by creating an accessible and engaging park and playground for residents of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

The Riverland Terrace 5K invites runners, walkers, rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs), and sponsors to raise funds to help revitalize our beloved Plymouth Park. Though this is a pet friendly event, all pets must always remain on leashes. Register early to secure your early bird discount!

FUNDRAISING

Our fundraising goal for this 5K is to raise an ambitious $50,000 for the enhancement of Plymouth Park. We have individual and group fundraising available on this race website to help us reach this big number!  Thank you for your support! All attendees will be given the opportunity to fundraise.

VIRTUAL RUN/WALKERS:

For those who want to run/walk at another time/location and help support Plymouth Park we offer the Virtual Race Option!  Everyone who registers for the virtual option will receive a T-Shirt and finishers medal! T-Shirts will need to be picked up at packet pickup. We will make special arrangements for those that are not able to pick up their t-shirt and packet pickup.  There will be no awards in the virtual category, registrants will not need to submit finisher information.

This is a rain or shine event! Remember to dress warmly for the event!

REFUND POLICY

Kindly note that all registration fees are non-refundable.

PARKING

Parking for racers will be FREE.  All race participants are asked to park at the James Island Baptist Church. 

WATER STATION

There will be one water station on the course.  **Please contact us if you are a community service group looking for a volunteer opportunity.**

STROLLERS/DOG WALKERS

Strollers are allowed on the race course, we just ask that you line up near the end for your safety and the safety of other participants. The same applies for people walking dogs. Thank you for your understanding. 

T-SHIRT PICK UP
