Race the Runway 5.02K

Join us before and after the race to enjoy light snacks and refreshments and to visit our vendors and sponsor booths. 

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with light snacks and refreshments, and vendor/sponsor booths. Walkers and runners will start the race at 9 a.m. Part of the course takes place on the Bowman Field runway, with participants surrounded by aircraft. 

The Race the Runway 5.02K is the final race of the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series. Everyone who completed the entire Mayorthon race series will receive a Mayorthon Challenge Coin during a ceremony led by Mayor Craig Greenberg.

Participants are encouraged to hang back after the race to enjoy food and drink vendors and take pictures with their custom finisher medals and Mayorthon Challenge Coins.

The race will be professionally chip-timed. All participants will receive a commemorative Race the Runway 5.02K long-sleeve tri-blend race shirt and a custom finishers medal.

Packet pick-up will be held from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on  Fri., Nov. 15 at Planet Fitness, located at 2815 Taylorsville Rd. There will also be race-day packet pick-up from 8 - 8:45 a.m.
