Open Door’s Julie RUN TO END HUNGER

Open Door's Julie RUN TO END HUNGER annual 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Location: Oakland Community College – Highland Lakes Campus
7550 Cooley Lake Road, Waterford, MI.  48327

5k run/walk Pricing: Early bird pricing $25 until June 9th, then $30 until September 8th. $35 from September 9th thru September 20th. $50 race day (shirts not guaranteed with registrations after September 8th) 

Ages 10 and under:  Only $10. No shirt included.

Family Discounted pricing: Save $5 per person when you register 3 or more people at the same time. Valid for the 5k run/walk only

Get a cool race t-shirt: T-shirt is guaranteed with paid registration by end of day September 8th.  T-shirts may be available after that date as supplies last. We are offering adult unisex small thru XXL. Valid for the 5k run/walk only.

1 mile fun run: $10, no shirt included.

Race day packet pickup and registration: 7:30 am at the race start line.

Schedule: Race starts at 9:00 am.

Awards: Male and Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd in three age groups 17 and under, 18-49 & 50 and up.

Virtual Participants Please run/walk anytime in the month of September. Shirts are available with registration thru August 31st. After that date shirts will not be available for virtual participants. You will receive an email with shirt pickup options in early September. Please note virtual participants are not eligible for awards. 

The race will be professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and online at the results tab, top of the page.
