Miles in Style 5K - GA

Join Effingham College & Career Academy's Student Council's annual Miles in Style 5k charity event! This is a themed race that is open to all-walkers and runners alike.

Step into the enchanted realm of our Fairytale 5K this year! Prepare to unleash your imagination and weave your own tale of triumph straight out of a storybook! A portion of our proceeds will benefit Family Promise as well as Backpack Buddies. Family Promise strives to assist families to avoid an imminent loss of housing and remain stably housed. Backpack Buddies strives to feed children through the weekend that would otherwise not have food, and supports children in 12 different schools. Both of these organizations will receive a donation from the proceeds collected from the race. Please help us to transform the lives of the families in our community!

The race takes place on a scenic route perfectly shaded under large pines and beautiful live oaks. This unique course takes you on a loop of historic Honey Ridge Farms winding through lush greenery providing you with a perfectly peaceful and scenic route. While the route is not paved it will be free of large obstacles, and is completely stroller and pet-friendly.

All registrations after Saturday, April 20, 2024, may not be guaranteed a race t-shirt. However, online registrations will remain open until Friday, April 26, 2024. On-Site registration is also available for $30. 

Packet pick-up will begin on-site on race day at 8:00 am. Free parking is available, please see signs upon arrival.
