Kiss the Gravel

Day-of registration begins 30 minutes prior to the ride. All riders must complete and sign a waiver (unless you signed one online). The ride begins rain or shine. USAC rules govern ride. Riders must wear a USDOT or CPSC-approved helmet anytime on a bike. No refunds. Organizer may combine fields of fewer than 3 riders. Day of ride late registration will be available for a $ 5.00 late fee.  Rules of the road apply. Please obey all traffic laws

Poker Ride: Win $200 (Click here for rules)
We are bringing back an old tradition from years ago the Poker Ride. The Bristol Poker Ride ran for a number of years in Bristol as a road event. At the start, at rest stops, and at the finish, you will receive a card. The rider with the best hand at the end of the day will win $200. Short and long route riders will be combined so that everyone has a chance to win the prize. Persons not wishing to participate don’t have to take cards at any point during the ride and are still eligible for the prizes listed above.

The start /finish has been moved to the Mendota, VA trailhead across the street from “The Store” (please
don’t park in their lot). The Store has great home cooked meals and awesome pie! The new start-finish area is safer and has ample parking. It also gives us room for post event festivities. Don't block or park in the Mendota Baptist Church lot.

Kiss the Gravel Short Route: 25 miles 

The short route follows the Mendota Trail  in it's entirety from Mendota to Bristol and back.
