I AM Woman 5K

MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY PARTICIPATING

The I Am Woman 5K 2024 race is working with the Centra Foundation to raise funds for the parents and children in our community. This ensures we can partner with our families and help them to live their best lives.
Funds raised have helped secure specialized newborn and pediatric equipment such as fetal monitors, radiant Panda warmers and Omni beds for the Intensive Care Nursery. This equipment allows us to keep children in our community!

100% of funds raised through your participation and donations stays here in Lynchburg and makes it possible for us to save the lives of our tiniest population!! 

ENTRY CAP:
This event is limited to the first 400 entries (in person & virtual)

PACKET PICK-UP: 
Friday, October 25th, Riverside Runners, 2480 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503. 12-6pm.
Saturday, October 28th (RACE DAY), Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center, 1701 Thomson Drive, Lynchburg, VA  24501, 7-7:30am

5K "IN PERSON"  REGISTRATION:
$30 || Individual ||  4/15 - 9/15
$35 || Individual || 9/16 - 10/24
$40 || Individual || 10/25 - 10/26

VIRTUAL 5K REGISTRATION:
$30 || Individual ||  4/15 - 10/26

FAMILY PRICING (Parents and Children Only):
Available for 3-5 family members (Parents and Children Only). Register with this option and save $5.00 per registration. This option expires 10/25/2024.

T-Shirts
Moisture wicking shirts up to size 2XL. Deadline for guaranteed t-shirt is 10/4/2024. We will have a limited number of extra, however, they will be available on a first come basis at packet pickup.

AWARDS & FINISHER MEDALS

All finishers receive a custom finisher medal!

Awards will be given to our Race Champion, Top 3 Master Finishers, and Top 3 in each age group.

COSTUME CONTEST
It's Halloween weekend....let's celebrate. Costumes are encouraged. As a matter of fact, it's become quite the tradition.  We will give special prizes for the very best costumes.

VIRTUAL RESULTS:
1.  PICKUP YOUR FINISHER MEDAL & T-shirt at Packet Pickup
2.  COMPLETE YOUR 5K,  Friday October 25th - Monday October 28th
3.  UPLOAD YOUR RESULTS via the RunSignUp website or text them.

Participants will have the ability to report their result, for their event, directly to our RunSignUp Results page or by text message.
Instructions will emailed to participants the week before the event and will also be found on our registration page.
