Fall Stampede Presented by Chick-fil-A

11th ANNUAL CHICK-FIL-A FALL STAMPEDE 5K & 1 MILE FAMILY FUN WALK

The 11th Annual Fall Stampede presented by Chick-fil-A is held every fall to benefit the Children's Cancer Center. The Children’s Cancer Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children and their families who are battling cancer or chronic blood disorders with the emotional, financial, and educational support necessary to cope with their life-threatening illness. Round up your herd this September during Childhood Cancer Center Awareness Month to make an immediate difference in the lives of local children and families battling pediatric cancer.

5K starts at 7:30AM | 1 Mile Family Fun Walk starts at 7:35AM

July 1st - August 21st: $30 August 22nd - September 9th at 6 pm: $35 September 9th after 6 & day of registration: $45    
BUSCH GARDENS STAY AND PLAY PASS - $53   Keep the post-race fun going! Purchase a single day ticket to Busch Gardens for the exclusive CCC Supporter price of $53 to enjoy all the park has to offer after running the Fall Stampede! These tickets can be purchased in the "Add On" section of the ticket checkout. Physical ticket will be given at packet pickup or at race day registration. Participant is responsible for physical ticket in order to re-enter the park upon opening.     

PACKET PICKUP

Packet Pick Up Party on Wednesday, September 7th from 6PM-8PM or Thursday, September 8th from 8AM-1PM. All participants will receive a t-shirt and swag bag!  Pick up is at Children's Cancer Center located at 4901 W. Cypress St. Tampa, FL 33607. If you cannot make this date, you can pick up packet up on race day at Busch Gardens. All participants will receive a race bib, an event t-shirt, and a swag bag. 

SPECTATORS With our new venue, the start line and finish will now be at two separate locations. Spectators are welcome to watch participants start the race at the entrance of Busch Gardens but will not be permitted to enter the park for the post-race party. The finish line will be in Gwazi Park. If you would like to watch your loved ones at the finish line, please purchase a 1-mile entry and join us for the event!   PARKING   All participants must be parked by 7:20AM to park on Busch Gardens premises. Per the safety precaution of Busch Gardens, participants must park by 7:20AM as parking lot will close down to be used for the 5k race route. All guests parking after this time will have to park off premises as roads will be closed. Busch Gardens offers nearly 5,000 parking spots and is located two miles off of Interstate 275. Chick-Fil-A Fall Stampede participants will not be charged to park during event hours!    STROLLERS   Strollers are not permitted in the 5k event, but strollers are allowed in the 1-mile family fun walk.    AWARDS   Medals are presented to the overall 1st place male & female regardless of age and to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male & female finishers in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-60, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+    

Driving Directions – Main Parking

From the North:

Travel SOUTH on I-75 to I-275 south to the Busch Boulevard Exit. (Exit # 50, formerly exit # 33)

Turn east (left) onto Busch Boulevard and proceed to the park. Turn left on McKinley (40th Street). Turn right into the main tollbooth parking for Busch Gardens and follow signs for Preferred Parking.

From the South:

Travel NORTH on I-75, past the intersection of I-4, to the Fowler Avenue exit # 265. (Formerly exit # 54) This exit is also the exit for the University of South Florida.  Bear left onto the exit ramp, and it will lead you directly on to Fowler Ave.  Proceed west on Fowler Ave. to McKinley Dr.  (McKinley Dr. is the first light past the main entrance of the University.)  Turn left on McKinley.  Proceed south on McKinley, and turn left into the main tollbooth parking for Busch Gardens and follow signs for Preferred Parking.

From St. Petersburg:

Travel NORTH on I-275 to the Busch Blvd. exit. (Exit # 50, formerly exit # 33)  Turn east (left) onto Busch Blvd. and proceed to the park. Turn left on McKinley (40th Street). Turn right into the main tollbooth parking for Busch Gardens and follow signs for Preferred Parking.

From Orlando:

Travel WEST on I-4 to I-75.  Go north on I-75 to the Fowler Ave. exit # 265.
