Bishop Ranch Turkey Trot

Join us on Thanksgiving Day for the 2023 running of the Bishop Ranch Turkey Trot - our inaugural run! We will gather at Bishop Ranch City Center in San Ramon for a run around the lakes and gardens. These are chip-timed races on a flat course that has both pavement and packed dirt. Come and run or cheer. Or both! 

Costumes are welcome, so break out your turkey suit and let's go! Here are the ways to take part:

The FAST Turkey 5k is a race designed for people who will finish in under 40 minutes. Fast! This race starts at 8am. Finish with the cheering crowd!The Festive 5k, is a race for the rest of us. This race starts at 8:40. Finish with a smile on your face!The TINY Turkey starts at 9:00 am and is a short run around City Center for children under 5. This is a 50-yard dash that's very fun. Get your camera/cell phone ready!

Also! Everyone who takes part in the Bishop Ranch Turkey Trot is encouraged to take part in the Rockstar Challenge. This is a totally free challenge to do good things in your community:

The Rockstar Challenge encourages you to do 10 good deeds between Halloween and Cyber Monday (November 27) We offer you ideas on things to do. Most are very simple. You can also make up your own Good Deeds. The world can't have enough of them, really.Track your Good Deeds here at bishopranchturkeytrot.com on the leaderboard of Do-Gooders! Do 10 and receive a Bishop Ranch Rockstar badge. This is a great activity for the whole family and for groups of young people interested in making the world a better place.Rockstar Challenge is FREE but if you want to run in the race, you still need to register to run!
