16 for 16 - Perry Hodge Memorial Run

New Year! New Location! New Format!

Join us for the 4th Annual Memorial Run for Sergeant Perry A. Hodge! This year, we are going all in to make this the largest and best run yet! Instead of a trail run, we are going to the Pulaski County Middle School track, which was dedicated in Perry's name posthumously. This is a rubberized track that is sure to be enjoyable to run on. 

Next, we upped the distance. Don't worry, it's nothing crazy, but this is now a 4-mile race. Where did we come up with this? Two reasons: #1 - 4 miles is equal to 16 laps, which was Perry's badge number. #2 - Perry would always ask if we really wanted to leave 9/10 of a mile on the table. We always finished with good even numbers.

Also, with this set up we are going to be able to have agencies set up aid stations along the track to cheer runners on and provide replenishment as they log their miles. BUT, we aren't stopping there. The purchase of your race ticket grants you a sweet 16 for 16 t-shirt, AND food from Mission BBQ!

As in years past, we will award medals to the top 3 men and top 3 women who cross the finish line.

Anyway, entrance is $50 until November 1, 2024. After that, the price goes up to $75! So it pays to be quick on registering as well as on the track. We look forward to seeing everyone there, raising money for Perry's Legacy Fund, and paying tribute to the best person to ever put on a Pulaski County Sheriff's Office uniform.
