Titans on the Run

The Tuscarora High School (THS) Athletic (THSAB) and Instrumental Music Boosters (THSIMB) are very excited to announce our first 5K event to be held in-person at THS on Sunday, March 26, 2023 the race will start at 8 am and we are thrilled to share this event with our students and staff, families, and the entire community!  Registration will be open from now until March 24 and will be $25 from now until March 10 and will increase to $30 dollars between March 11 and 26. (All participants registered by March 10 will be guaranteed a T-shirt.)

This is our first opportunity to host an in-person 5K and is a great way to support our local school programs and be a part of our community, especially during these tough times.

Making this event especially momentous is the joining together of our award winning student-athletes and musicians as they work side by side to benefit each of their respective programs.  Because 100% of the athletics budget is derived from fundraising/tickets to games and about 60% of the music program is derived from fundraising, these groups need our financial support to continue offering these tremendous programs to our students. Proceeds from this 5K race will aid in the purchase and maintenance of much needed athletic equipment and instruments and to fund transportation costs. These costs are not covered by FCPS and so we must reach out to our local community for support.

Packet pickup will be on Thursday, March 23 from 3 pm - 5 pm and on Friday, March 24 from 5:30 pm - 8 pm at Tuscarora High School, 5312 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. Please park on the Main Office/Gym/Greenhouse side of the building for packet pick up and on race day.
