Folk Fest 5k

**Attention Folk Fest 5K runners and walkers, Packet Pickup for Saturday at the CityStage lot has been delayed until 2:00pm to allow the storms to pass. Packet Pickup will now be from 2:00-4:30pm. Participants can still pick up or register for FF5K on Sunday morning from 8:30-9:45am.

The North Carolina Folk Festival, in partnership with the Triad running community, will hold its first 5K run/walk on Sunday, September 10, 2023.  The Folk Fest 5K will begin at 10am and lead directly into the start of festival performances and activities on Sunday.  This run/walk is an untimed fundraising event to help support the annual NC Folk Fest and to do what we love to do, together, in a non-competitive venue. This is a great chance to line up with your friends, teammates, or family members, and go for a run! Hang around after the run and enjoy the cuisine from the food truck vendors, beer from Foot Hills Brewery, and live music from Nani Vazana starting at 11am. 

Participants will receive a Folk Fest 5K t-shirt, beverage, and custom bib with their registration fee. Registration will continue through race morning. Early birds who register by August 12, are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
