Abersoch 10K & 3K Beach Race

Starting in Abersoch's picturebook village and finishing along the golden sands of Abersoch's main beach, this is a bucket list race for all levels of runners. 10K The 10K race kicks off at the heart of the village, overlooking the beautiful harbor. From there, runners will make their way through the bustling high street and head towards Lon Pentre Bach. They will then turn left towards the Sarn Bach crossroads. A string of narrow lanes will lead the participants to the incredible 'Tocyn Brutal' hill. This hill thrusts a daunting challenge upon the runners with a 600m stretch of rough pathway and a 140ft rise. However, reaching the top rewards them with a breathtaking view before the course plunges down towards the golf course. The final moments of the race are nothing short of spectacular. Participants run along the beach, traversing the coastline towards the finish line. A cheering crowd of enthusiastic spectators encourage the runners as they strive to reach the picture-perfect finish line on the sands. 3K The 3K Beach Race takes place ahead of the main 10k event and is suitable for runners of all skill levels. This enjoyable race begins and concludes on the beach. The course navigates through the golf course, along a bridle track, and then returns to the beach. The exciting finale sees runners finishing their race at the water's edge, making for a truly unforgettable experience.
