Generoso Trail

After five exciting editions, RAIFFEISEN Generoso Trail returns and awaits you for the sixth edition on Sunday 20 October 2024.Almost entirely immersed in the forest, the RAIFFEISEN Generoso Trail is a fascinating uphill run that will take you from the city of Mendrisio to the summit of Monte Generoso, at an altitude of 1704 metres.
To reach the finish line, you will have to tackle a 12-km course with a positive altitude difference of no less than 1437 metres! A vertical that will give you intense emotions.
After a first part on asphalt in Mendrisio, for the remaining three quarters of the route, you will run in contact with nature and once you reach the summit, a spectacular 360 degree panorama of the Alps, the perennially snow-covered Apennines, the lakes and the Po Valley will be waiting for you.
The race is open to all enthusiasts over the age of 15.

To do our part in terms of eco-sustainability, the race packet will be replaced from this year by a digital version with vouchers and coupons that can be downloaded online.
The prize-giving ceremony and lunch will take place at the Stone Flower, designed by internationally renowned architect Mario Botta.
