Care Net Reindeer Run 5K & Walk Sponsored by American Patriot Getaways

The 9th Annual Care Net 5K Reindeer Run/Walk is a family-fun event open to runners and walkers of all types so grab your family members, friends, or co-workers and join the fun!

This race will be a timed event for the purposes of awarding winner divisions.  Participants are encouraged to come dressed in Christmas attire (ugly sweaters, Santa hats, bells, fun socks, etc.).  Visit with Santa, enjoy hot chocolate, and win door prizes as we kick off the Christmas season.

Entry fee includes a long sleeve t-shirt and entry for door prize drawings; registration discounts available for children 17 & under.  Sign up by 11-12-23 to avoid registration fee increase. (Due to t-shirt vendor ordering deadlines, there is no guarantee of receiving a t-shirt when signing up after 11-12-23.)

Don’t forget about the Reindeer Dash…for children 7 and under.  It’s a short dash down the main event strip.  Dress your little one up in Christmas attire and enjoy a fun dash with Santa to the finish line.  All little runners will receive their own runner’s bib and a winner’s medal at the finish line.  The Reindeer Dash has a separate entry fee of $5 and starting time is 8:00 a.m.  (Event t-shirts not included, but may be purchased as an add-on.)

  This event raises funds to serve the young men and women of Owensboro and surrounding areas through Care Net.  At Care Net, we offer help, hope, and compassion to anyone who finds themselves in an unplanned pregnancy or with concerns of a sexually transmitted disease.  We help by providing pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, abortion pill reversal, and STI testing and treatment.  We also offer prenatal and parenting classes and material resources.  All of our services are free and confidential.
