Wayne Pregnancy Center Run For Life 5K and Fun Run

Calling all Superheroes!  Everyday at Wayne Pregnancy Center & Cry Freedom Missions men and women in our community walk through our doors looking for help.  They are scared and unsure of what to do.  We offer free and confidential services to those facing planned and unplanned pregnancy needing abortion, adoption or parenting information.  We work to reach, rescue, and restore those in sex trafficking and provide jail, hotel and street outreach.  We could not continue these free services without HEROES like YOU!  Come dressed as the SUPERHERO that you really are and join us for our 10th Annual 5k Run 4 LIFE & 1 Mile Super Walk.  Help us defeat the enemy and save lives!

COURSES

The 5k race course is a USATF certified course that takes runners along tree-lined neighborhood streets and alongside the fairways of the golf course in the middle of a planned residential community known as the Village of Walnut Creek in eastern North Carolina.  The Fun Walk is approximately 1 mile. 

TIMING AND SCORING

Provided by Run the East, with shoe chips.  Results will be announced shortly after the last finishers, and on the internet later at www.runtheeast.com.

MEDALS

To the top 3 Male and Female Overall 5k Runners in each age category listed below: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

PRIZES

Amazing Prize Packages to the top 3 $ Raising Adults and the Top 3 $ Raising Youth (12 & under).   A Trophy for the Top $ Raising Team.

FOOD AND DRINKS

A Food and Drink Recovery station will be provided to all participants.
