Tuff Tornado Run

General Description: Be part of the Sixth  annual Tuff Tornado Run!  Run or walk,  support our causes.  This event will take place rain or shine.

Pre-registration:  Fee is $15 for ages 5-12, $20 for ages 13 and older and $50 for a family (up to six members of a single family).  If you are signing up as a team, you will be able to do this at the registration site.

Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup can be done on Race Day starting at 10:00 AM.

Race Day On-Site Registration: Open from 11 AM – 12:30 PM. Cash or check payment only. Fee is $20 for ages 5-12, $25 for ages 13 and older, and $55 for a family (up to six members of a single family). If you are signing up with a team, everyone on your team must sign up at the same time.

Timing:  This race will be chip timed by Miles of Smiles Timing.

Shirts: Pre-register by Wednesday, September 4th to reclimb, and balance through the terrain with twenty-three  amazing obstacles.  This will take place at Alameda Park on September 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Prepare to get dirty as you make your way towards the finish line to our mud pit.  We have Cross Fit Recreate representatives to help you stretch out to music from our DJ.  We have food trucks which will be available with a variety of food. The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, is sponsoring this run.  Proceeds will benefit students in the Butler Area School District through the Kids’ Weekend Backpack Program, Creative Teaching Grants, much needed technology and other scholastic projects supporting our BASD students. All levels of runners, walkers and TEAMS are welcome to participate.

Course: This is a two-mile run which includes twenty-three obstacles.

Restrooms:  Restrooms will be available throughout the park.
