Plainfield Salute the Troops 5k, Fun Run, & Soldier Stroll

Join a fun run or challenge yourself while honoring a veteran. Hosted by Plainfield Recreation, this event supports military troops and veterans, with proceeds going to the local VFW, American Legion, and Veteran’s Coffeehouse. The event kicks off with the National Anthem, followed by a Fun Run, Soldier Stroll, and a race for both runners and walkers. Starting and ending at Plainfield High School, the route passes through athletic fields, Shepard Hill Elementary, and a small neighborhood. Open to all abilities and skill levels, the event welcomes everyone for a good cause.
