Life's Good in LG 5K, 10K, and Fun Run - MD

Include a 5K in your Labor Day Weekend plans! Over the last 11 years we have donated over $33,000.00 to the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department. Our event has enabled the LVFD to purchase new equipment used for fighting fires throughout our county. 

Our 5K course loops through the beautiful neighborhood of Leonard's Grant and the 10K course includes Clark's Rest. Both the 5K and 10K are chip timed. Our Fun Run course draws about 80 little runners each year to kick off the morning's festivities. 5K and 10K medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: Overall, 13 & Under, 14-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+

Register here for $30 until 4/15/24. Registration increases to $35 on 4/16/24. Register by 5/16/24 to guarantee your shirt size; there will be no shirt exchanges. Although you can also register at Walk-in Registration (for $40) the day before the race, you will not be guaranteed your preferred shirt size at that time. If you aren't satisfied with the sizes that are available at Walk-in, you are eligible for our free post-race shirt order which is placed each year; your shirt will arrive about two weeks after Race Day.

THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION but you will be able to pick up your packet on race day if you have already registered online.

The Kids' Fun Run will start at 8:00 and it is open to runners aged 11 and under, with distances of 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile. Register your kid for the Fun Run for $5 at Walk-in Registration on May 25th at the LG Clubhouse. All 5K and 10K registrants include one free Fun Run Registration!

Event details and schedule

 

Friday, May 24th, 4:00-6:00: Walk-in registration for the 5K/10K ($40) and for the Kids' Fun Run ($5) (cash or check only). Also, packet pick-up for the 5K/10K. Held in the Leonard's Grant Clubhouse in the center of the subdivision.

THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Saturday, May 25th, 7:15-8:00: Packet Pick-up for 5K and 10K runners already registered.

THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR THE 5K OR FOR THE KIDS' FUN RUN.

Saturday, May 25th, 8:00: National Anthem and Kids' Fun Run, immediately followed by the 5K and 10K.

THE 5K AND 10K BEGIN IMMEDIATELY UPON COMPLETION OF THE KIDS' FUN RUN.

Saturday, May 25th, 9:30: Awards
