The Læsø Ultra race offers one of Denmark’s most exciting and scenic ultra-running challenges. Starting directly from the Margrethe ferry in Vesterø, this ultra race plunges you into the stunning nature of Læsø Island. The race begins with the ferry horn signaling the start as runners set off from the ferry’s car deck. Whether you’re staying overnight on the island or arriving just in time for the start, the adventure begins as soon as you step off the ferry. The route takes participants through a mix of beaches, gravel roads, forests, and picturesque tracks, offering a full exploration of the island's natural beauty. After completing the course, runners finish back in Vesterø at Guesthouse Læsø, where delicious food awaits, ensuring a memorable finish to your race.

코스 주요 내용

Running alternates on gravel, forest and grass paths. Dunes and beach, as well as asphalt, in addition there will also be some places with exciting forest floor. The route is marked with a pink flag and the places where the routes diverge will be marked and the new route will be marked with a blue flag. (This applies to 10 km after 2 km, ½ Marathon after 4 km and Marathon after 25 km) In several places, there will be stretches where you just have to follow the beach/road, here there will be a cone with a sign on which it says how far you have to continue on the beach (E.g. for the 65 km at Bløden Hale - Follow the beach/road xx km) and when you have to leave the beach there are clear pink flags to follow.
