Hot Pursuit 5k Run/Walk Benefit Event for the Simpsonville Police Department Foundation Simpsonville, South Carolina  Sponsored by the Upstate Running Club

 

Lace up your running shoes and get ready to chase down the competition in the upcoming "Hot Pursuit 5k" running race! Not only will you get a great workout, but you'll also be supporting your local police department. This exciting event will take place in the heart of Simpsonville, and is open to runners of all ages and fitness levels. Participants can look forward to a thrilling course, complete with exciting twists and turns that will keep you on your toes. And the best part? Proceeds from the event will go towards the police department, helping them to continue to keep our community safe. So come out, have some fun, and support a great cause in the process. Register now for the "Hot Pursuit 5k" and join the race towards a better, safer community.   Event Details What: Hot Pursuit 5k Run/Walk Where: City of Simpsonville Police Department 405 E Curtis St, Simpsonville, SC 29681 When: TBA Packet Pickup: will begin 1 hour prior to race start adjacent to the Police Department Overall Awards will be given out at the conclusion of the race Age group winners will be recognized and announced at 8:30am Refreshments will be available before and after the run. Volunteer for a FREE Race Entry or a Future Race Entry by Upstate Race Series - HERE Set-Up - Packet Pickup - Course Monitor - Aid Station - Cleanup - Parking   Timing, Results, & Race Awards Top 3 Male and Female will receive an award! You will run on Curtis St. down to Main St. crossing over Main before taking a left and running along S. Main and merging onto the Swamp Rabbit extension. You will continue on the SRT to Fairview Rd and then will take a right on Fairview and another right shortly after on South St. From there you will continue on the sidewalk until Fairview Point Dr. before merging back on the SRT back to Curtis. Take a right on Curtis to your finish line in front of the Police Department inside the new First Baptist Church Parking lot.
