Heart of Texas Southwest FCA Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

 Heart of Texas Southwest FCA is excited to host a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K through the Historic District of Temple, TX! Excellence is one of FCA's core values, so we want to present this event with excellence; we want you back each and every year, sharing your experience with others! 

Early packet pick up Friday, February 23rd, 5:00pm- 7pm at Don Ringler Chevrolet, 7777 S. General Bruce Dr, Temple, TX 76502. 

Race Day pick up Race Packet on February 24th starting at 5:30AM at Miller Park, 1919 N 1st St, Temple, TX 76502. 

Start and Finish Line will be at Miller Park, 1919 N 1st St, Temple, TX 76502.

*Runner’s Parking will be at Lamar Middle School: 
2011 N Third St, Temple, TX  76501

*All bibs should be worn on the front of your outer layer of clothing.

Finish times and live results will be posted online during the race.  You may check these with your mobile device at the website on your race number. Final results will be posted online upon conclusion of the race.  Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and top 3 female winners, and the top male and female winners per age group.  Top overall winners scored by gun time; all others by chip time.  No duplicate awards.  Award ceremony upon conclusion of the race.  There will also be days/times published for individuals to pick up awards after the race date. The top male and female winners per age group must be present at awards gathering to receive award. 

Course Notes:
*Half Marathon hydration provision on course are plastic 8oz water bottles. On the half course, minimal Gatorade is provided at the 1.5 mile mark, 3 mile mark, 6.5 mile mark and the 10 mile mark, 11.5 mile mark and finish line.  
*10K hydration provision on course are plastic 8oz water bottles. On the 10K course, minimal Gatorade is provided at the 1.5 mile mark, 3 mile mark, 4.5 mile mark, and the finish line.
*5K hydration provision on course are plastic 8oz water bottles and the finish line.

*Snacks are provided on both courses and the start/finish line. Snacks provided are apples, oranges, H-E-B granola bars and various types of chips.
