Great Green Run

In general: This event does not feel like a public running event, it felt like we were outsiders at a CIMB company event. Registration: at the run package collection day, the team told me that my tag number was not ready, and we had to collect it on the day itself. When we collected it on the day itself, it was very apparent that the tag was printed with someone elses name and my name was printed on a label and pasted over it. The organised route of the run was not well thought out at all, the start of the run funnelled people through a narrow stretch of 3-400m. This coupled with a good deal of people who registered, which is quite apparent to me are CIMB employees, that did not intend to run, preventing me for starting the run and having to walk behind them for this stretch before the path became wide enough to pass them. After the run, the water points placed around were not well maintained, most were already out of water. There was one booth giving out water, but again, we were told only for CIMB employees. We had to go over to a convenient store to get bottled water.. at a green run… Overall this experience was not good at all, and I will be discouraging my friends and community from signing up for any future events organised by CIMB.
