Fries Fall 5K Fun Run/Walk

Come join us for the 1st annual Fries Community Center Fall Fun Run/Walk!  This 5K run/walk will be run entirely on the New River Trail along the beautiful New River.  It is an out and back course starting and ending in Fries - you will run down the New River Trail for 1.55 miles and then turn around and run back to the starting area.  It is fast and flat for those looking for a PR and beginner friendly for those looking to finish their first 5K!  All proceeds will benefit the sports program of the Fries Community Center.  On-line race registration is $15 and will include a free t-shirt if you are registered by September 15 (no guarantee of a t-shirt if you register after September 15). Race day registration will also be available on site immediately prior to the race for $20 but does not guarantee a t-shirt.  First place male and female runners will each win a $50 gift certificate to the Fries Dam Steakhouse!  Also, we have a generous anonymous donor who has pledged to donate $5 to the Fries Community Center for every participant who completes the 5K!
