Dubai Marathon

Incrediable experience, my first oficial road Marathon mark, thanks for giving me the opportunity to achieve these goal, and thanks for giving me the opportunity to be part of this amazing race in the best City of the world DUBAI

Maybe the track is a Little bit boring because you need to do the same lap twice but is okay

The route is not difficult, but it gets sunny very soon so u need to be prepared with your sun cream and sunglasses not to suffer from the sun too fast

Distance doesnt make any problem , you can enjoy your run, just dont eat heavy food the day before and have a good rest

The track was nice the number of participants was huge But i was expecting to see the sea at least Wr don't know where is the ceremony I don't know what is my rating The app wasn’t helpful There is no audio guidance There wasn't any activities around the event When i finish i end up in the street No prober way finding The organizers didn't have any information even the start point they didn’t have any idea where is it No smog toilets

Amazing first marathon experience! I can't wait to do my next one :) The crowd were so supportive every step of the way.

Dubai itself is a scenic city which looks a litte bit like a mixture of Tunisia, India and Disneyland. Especially in the German winter it is a nice place to stay for some days. Even if the weather should not be as nice as you expect you can visit the gigantic shopping centers and sky scrapers. And of course you can combine your trip with the participation in the Dubai Marathon. I did that in 2011. Unfortunately the marathon is far less exciting than the mordern Dubai architecture. You run far away from the center of the town, which means there are very few supporting spectators. You do not pass a lot of interisting attractions. Even the coast is out of sight. However, the course is flat and fast. Also you will not be obstructed by food stations because there are no food stations. The runners only get water and Gatorade. On the whole it was one of my fastest marathons but also one of the most boring ones.

Well organized. However, it was a flat boring course, so many loops does not show a true sample of Dubai. The race was lacking soul. I would do it once, but never twice.

Amazing spirit of the Marathoners and encouraging volunteers. People of all Hue and Nationalities marching towards goal of better health and better world. 2 years participated and looking forward to this year too.

was my first experience of FULL Marathon. Was encouraged so much throughout the route by Volunteers that felt the Pain of completing it was worth and would not be possible without their encouragement. Inspired by great achievers each year.
