Istanbul Marathon

Amazing scenery! Very well organized!

What's most trying and unforgettable is the long and hard upward slopes for the July 15 Martyr's Bridge, and the gusty winds when you on the bridge. And it was so cold! It's a miracle I made this marathon amid chilling temperature. I like the city and the routes of the race and highly recommend the race to everyone!!!

I want to challenge myself, and keep doing it as long as I can. To finish a marathon gives me a sense of vitality, control and freedom and certainly a feel of hardcore youth.

It was a great experience.

This marathon have something special than others cheerful crowds & amazing sea view. Only support that is providing fruits and waters were not good enough like last marathon.

The first half was amazing. The second half was not that good, but the finish line was also great. I still don’t know where to get the official pictures from the event. I’m trying everyday

It was too hot, but an awesome race.

Not enough toilets on the road. First toilet after 10 km.After 15km no music 😟

You won’t feel it!! Honestly, that’s how amazing it was. It passes quickly when you start with the bridge amazing views all the way

It was very well organised, throughout the route people were cheering us up. Water station were on right places and even wet sponges were provided. Upon the finish they provided us right items to hydrate and eat. Huge celebration was organised, different cutouts were placed for pictures. Public transport was free to reach the venue and even return journey.

I have been a smoker so couldn't run outside and during Covid i started running and quit smoking, now i am slowly training myself to run in marathons around the world. This March 2023 i did one run for 5K and August 2023 10K, thats why selected 15K for achievable target

Magnificent location, excellent organization, warm hospitality. As always - there is no other like Istanbul

The course was very well organized. The finish was a pleasant surprise, going through Top Kapi. Running over the Bosphorus was exhilarating. The sea breeze made the heat more bearable.

First class marathon all the way. Best organized I have seen.

It is an excellent route. It can be a very fast course. We happened to get winds against and a very warm day for the time of year but that cannot be controlled. Anything that could be controlled was top notch.

The last 2 kilos in the 42 marathon was difficult and the ascent is not suitable for the end of the marathon I hope next times that you change the last 2 kilos I hope you put people who speak English or Arabic for easy communication with her
