Saturday Registration starts at 7:00am until 9:00am. Please go to table with REGISTRATION SIGNS
PACKET PICK UP FOR SATURDAY - AT THE PAVILION. PLEASE FOLLOW SIGNS.
Dogs are allowed on the course as long as it is leashed at all times.
Children riding in strollers do not have to be registered in the race.

We highly recommend, if possible, to pick up your shirt and bib or just the bib on Thursday or Friday at the downtown Ymca to avoid the crowd on race day morning. Virtual runners will still need to pick up their race shirt at packet pick up.
* You may pick up someone else’s packet.
* All packets are required to be picked up at packet pick-up or at the in-person race day
* We will hold packets after the race for one week after the race. You may pick it up in person at the Downtown branch.
* There is a $15.00 fee to have your packet (shirt and medal, if signed up for the virtual race). Packets will be mailed to all addresses that are more than 50 miles away from 1000 North Market St. Frederick, MD 21701. Please do not choose this option if you live more than 50 miles away from Frederick, MD
* All packets will be mailed AFTER the RACE.
Saturday In-Person Race: 9:00am One Mile Elf Run Starts; Approximately 9:20am 5k and 10k Run starts
Please pin down all four corners of your bib on your garment. If the bib is not pinned properly and flips upward, the chip may not work. Awards
Overall women and men for the 5K and 10K run: announced after live results at pavilion area
1st place winners: all age groups, women and men 5K and 10K - announced after live results, at pavilion area
The 5K Race: starting at Monocacy Park to Shifferstadt Blvd., 2 U-turns on Shifferstadt Blvd., return back to the park.
The 10K Race: 2 laps of the 5K course. A turn around will be placed inside the park near the start/finish line to begin your 2nd lap.
The One Mile: is an out and back route from the park to the first neighborhood on Mohican Drive and turning around on Mohican court back to the park.
First aid station/AED will be located at the pavilion race site. Certified CPR/AED/FA personnel will be present
There are several options for you on race day. please be respectful of public and private property.
* YMCA parking lot and a short walk across East Street to the park
* Delaware Road between the park entrance/exit driveway towards East Street. Do not park in the residential area behind the Monocacy Village shopping center.
* Monocacy Village shopping center-do not park in front of retail stores (Dollar General, Salvation Army, and the Woodsboro Bank)
* Local road running parallel to East Street and railroad tracks
* The Monocacy Village Park parking lot will be closed to participants and guests. This lot will include 10 port-a-pots, volunteers, and staff parking only.
Shirt sizes are available for ages 5 and up!
Shirt size will be guaranteed if registered by October 31, 2024. After this date, it's first come first serve, and sizes are not guaranteed.
Ages 1-4 will receive a race cinch bag or equivalent gift instead of a shirt
Bibs
* Remember to put all 4 pins in the bib and attach them to the outside of your apparel. If the bib should flip while racing, the timing chip will be unable to capture your times.
* Do not place your bib upside down on your apparel.
* Bibs will be available at the packet pick-up times (see above).
* One Mile Elf Run: one-mile participants do not use bibs for this race.
* Virtual Runners: please use your email confirmation that was sent from run sign up and click on the “manage registration” link. Then look for the “digital bib” tab at the top right of the screen and click to see and print your bib. It will have your name, bib #, and team name if you joined a team.
Submitting Time Manually: if you run your virtual race on a treadmill or wish to submit your time manually, submit it on the results page.
IF YOU ARE SIGNED UP FOR THE VIRTUAL RACE, YOU SHOULD RECEIVE EMAIL ON DOWNLOADING THE RACEJOY APP. FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE BELOW ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS:
* Set Up Download RaceJoy from the App Store or Google Play.
* Find Race: Click Featured Races to access the event you are doing or search by name in the search field.
* Set Up Tracking: Click I Want to Be Tracked and follow the prompts carefully. Select the course(s) you plan to complete.
* Ensure Proper Settings: Follow RaceJoy's prompts and adjust settings as needed.
* Race Day Click TRACK ME: Make sure to click the green blinking TrackMe button on race day to start the tracking of your phone.
* Select the course you are about to do.
* Click START MY RACE as you begin to start your personal clock. For on-site courses: Click this as you cross the START LINE. This is optional for on-site courses. However, clicking this at the start line will provide a more accurate finish time and performance data.
RaceJoy auto-detects when you complete the course distance. No need to click Finish unless you are completing a challenge event where you cumulate distance over multiple sessions.
Race Redo for Virtual Events only: You have the option to redo a course by clicking the redo button. This is only available for virtual events or on-site events with expanded race dates. Warning: Selecting the redo button will clear previous performance data.
You must access RaceJoy on race day to activate GPS tracking. Participants completing a Race Anywhere event must click the Start My Race button to begin their personal race clock.
Important for your friends and family: Make sure you tell your friends and family to log in as themselves and not you or RaceJoy will track them instead of you.
Note: GPS tracking and progress alerts may be disrupted if there is an issue with connecting to the person's phone (weak-to-no cell service in the region, use of Wi-Fi, improper setup, battery depletion, etc.).
