Y Hot Chocolate 8K

YMCA Hot Chocolate 8K Saturday Update:
Race is a go:
1- Packet Pickup is Saturday morning at 7:00 am indoors at the YMCA Pavilion in the park across the street from the Stanly County Family YMCA, where it will be dry and warm with indoor bathrooms. Hot chocolate and awards will be indoors after the race.
(Located About 75-feet from the Start/Finish line)

2- Brad Smythe at Clockwork Race Timing will be set-up to time the race.

3- Long sleeve shirts to participants.

4- Eleven members of the Stanly County Amateur Radio Club will be along the course assisting the runners when needed.

5 - Peter Asciutto (That's Me) will be out there assisting and taking free facebook profile pictures of runners.

6- A twelve-pack of Sun Drop soda will be awarded to the first participant named Ben Kassel to cross the finish line.
7- Great volunteers and staff from the Stanly County Family YMCA will be organizing the race.
8 - Course has some very nice downhills along the way.

Join us for the 7th Annual Hot Chocolate 8K. This challenging 8K course is a favorite with local runners. Take the challenge, run the hills, and celebrate at the finish line with Hot Chocolate and snacks.

Entry Includes a Long-Sleeved T-shirt!

Packet Pick up will be available at the Y starting 7 am on race day!
