Organize an in-person community walk or plan a virtual walk that allows more flexibility. Families have walked at beaches, parks, schools, and around their neighborhood. If you would like to sign up as a volunteer team captain, contact us to set up your team's registration.
For individual walkers:
Start by Registering or Donating
Form a new team, join an existing team, or participate as an individual
Set up a Walk for a Cure fundraising page with your story and walk goal
Share with your network through emails and social media
Download CCF’s "Get Walking" playlist and start walking
Grow Your Team
Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to support your walk efforts.
Email your network and link to your CCF fundraising page
Share your message on social media using the hashtag #ItTakesATeam and #GoTheDistance, and tag @CCFHeartKids
Post photos of your progress as you train, and share a live video when you walk
