Valley 5000

With over 300 runners expected and even more spectators, this will be an amazing year for the 42nd Valley 5000, hosted by Sweetheart City Racing. This run/walk will begin in Mehaffey Park on August 30, 2024 at 6:30pm. We are proud to support House of Neighborly Services, an organization that assists and advocates for people challenged by the effects of poverty or facing a situational crisis. The 1-mile starts at 8am, and the 5K starts at 9:00am for Elite and  Citizen’s races. If you can run a 5K, men in 24 min or less, and women 26 min or less, sign up for the elite wave! Sign up to run both the 1-mile and 5K, or just one. Either way, you are guaranteed to have an amazing time!

Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Early packet pickup will be at TBD, Friday, August 16th, 5:30-6:30pm. Please DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. We will be setting up and getting ready to start at 5:30pm. You can also pick up your packets 45 min prior to your race start time at MeHaffey Park on Aug 17th.
