Tour de Barnstable

Inspired by the tradition of European "Gran Fondo" rides, the Tour de Barnstable is scenic ride through the beautiful Town of Barnstable on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

With both 20 and 38 mile routes, the starts and finishes at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum in Hyannis, MA. The route is a scenic tour highlighting the villages and shoreline of Barnstable, and is held almost entirely on quiet secondary roadways.

Begins at 9:00AM (both distances start together)

Entry includes a commemorative long sleeve hooded shirt, entry into our post-race party, two free beers (21+ only), and food from several Cape Cod's most popular restaurants. 

COST:

$95 through April 30th
$110 May 1st to May 14
$125 May 15 to May 31

FUNDRAISING

While this event is a fundraiser for RACE Cancer Foundation and Cape Wellness Collaborative, creating a personal fundraising page is entirely optional unless you select the discounted “Fundraiser” option.  When you receive your confirmation e-mail, the fundraising details will be included.

E-bikes: Pedal assist, class 1 or class 3 e-bikes are welcome. No throttle style (class 2) e-bikes permitted at this time.  

STRAVA

As part of the event, for those that wish to test their speeds, there will be three King of the Mountains (KOMs) and Queen of the Mountains (QOMs). This is an optional extra part of the event for those using the STRAVA app and not mandatory.  They are the DEVO Cycling KOM/QOM, the Sea Sports Cyclery KOM/QOM, and the Larry Gray Cup, sponsored by Cape Cod Cycling Club. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female riders in each of the KOMs and QOMs, plus a perpetual trophy for the Larry Gray Cup.
