About the event
The University of Dayton Department of Health and Sport Science annual Thomas J. Frerick's 5K event is set for 2024! Once again, we will offer both an in-person and a virtual 5K option. The event will take place on UD's campus over Family Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 21st. The race will begin in front of the RecPlex at 10:00am. Proceeds of the Thomas J. Frericks 5K will benefit the Department of Health and Sport Science and Phi Epsilon Kappa.
The cost for the in-person 5K event is $30 and registration for the virtual 5K is FREE with donations greatly appreciated!
Prizes will be awarded to the male and female overall winners and the top 3 males and females in each age division. Prizes will be awarded only to those participating in-person. We look forward to seeing you in September!
