The Shimmy in Shickshinny 1/2 and 1/4 Marathon (formerly the Warrior Trail)

The Shimmy in Shickshinny Marathon takes place along the scenic Susquehanna Warrior Trail in Shickshinny, PA. This flat, hard-packed dirt and gravel route, mostly shaded, offers minimal elevation change, making it ideal for a fast-paced experience. Participants receive a race-themed T-shirt and a unique finisher's medal. Porta-potties and water stations are available throughout the course. The event supports the Susquehanna Warrior Trail through portions of the proceeds and donations. Awards are available across various age groups and categories. Dogs are permitted but must be leashed; strollers are not allowed on the trail.
