Terrapin and Hare 5K

Welcome runners, walkers, volunteers, supporters and champions! - Registration for Oct 22, 2022 Terrapin & Hare 5K run/walk begins now!   Hosted by Rotary of Kent Island, your beautiful 3.11 mile cross-country style course is part of a 276-acre bayfront park and Nature Preserve.  Take a mere 6-7000 steps from start to finish line, and see what fun swag your participation in this spirited race affords you!. Your course includes, and is part of a scenic combination of grassy, woodsy, and sunny wildflower meadows, sand, beach, packed oyster shell and stone paths, and is rain or shine.  Dress for the weather, and hope for the beautiful fall day in October that Maryland generally delivers!  Terrapin Nature Park, 191 Log Canoe Circle, in Stevensville, Maryland, promise a fun, healthy experience for the beginner to the most advanced runner.  THIS YEAR PROMISES MORE PRIZES, & MORE GIVEAWAYS, so plan to linger a bit afterward for awards!  Your participation helps Rotary of Kent Island continue its mission to support Literacy, Education, Health for Mothers and Children, Environment, Clean Water, Grow Local Economies, and Promote Peace! All proceeds go directly to these causes.  There are no refunds, as your registry to us is support for our efforts toward your community.
