Tides of Grace 5K

Tides of Grace is a frontline result driven and goal oriented non-profit organization on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that was established with the mission to support the community through kindness and compassion by providing a helping hand to those in need of resources and services. We are committed to accelerating the development of a better and brighter tomorrow by alleviating the negative outcomes that are endured by those in need of assistance through robust partnership and collaboration. Each month we strive to be a helping hand in the community through kindness and compassion by offering a monthly collection and drive for items and services the community needs. Each month is a different collection and average 200- 300 people in the community we help each month. Each month the community comes out to receive these items.  We have offered books and blankets, shoes, Easter baskets for children, prom dresses to our seniors and summer clothes, community baby shower for new moms haircuts, family photos, winter clothes, school supplies and toy drives. Our events are free to the community and helps offer support and help with whatever chapter they are in during this season of life. We exist to provide an inclusive and enabling environment in different communities and pride our services on meeting the needs of individuals and families we serve. We are having the 5K race to help us fund future events and expand our space we have for monthly collections. We are in the process of looking for a larger building and the funds raised will go towards the cost of that and help offset the costs of future events.
