Stepping It Up for Veterans 5K

This is timed 5K Fun Run/Walk sponsored by VFW Post 2908 Auxiliary.. A portion of the proceeds will support NC Veteran Farm in Carthage,  a non-profit organization that teaches military members transitioning to civilian life the ins and outs of farming. 

This timed 5K Fun Run/Walk will leave from the Post Home at 119 Anderson Road, Albemarle and meander through the beautiful tree-lined Anderson Heights area of Albemarle, NC and ending back at the Post Home.

Registration fee is $30 and includes a Stepping It Up for Veterans t-shirt commemorating the event on race day if pre-registered by 10/31/2023. Registrations after 11/09/2023 are not guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt at event, but will be provided one as long as supplies last.  We will mail any shirts after 11/10 Don't want to be timed....no worries. Come out and support NC Veteran Farm by walking at your leisure.

Prizes for the top 5 males and top 5 female participants.
