Shine A Light On Stroke 5K - DE

Delaware Occupational and Speech Therapists are organizing a Stroke Awareness Run/Walk event, focusing on support and awareness for stroke survivors and their caregivers. The goal is to connect the community with local businesses and resources to emphasize this cause. Proceeds will aid those affected by stroke, funding adaptive equipment to enhance safety and quality of life, transportation needs, and essential speech and mobility aids. The initiative, now a nonprofit, seeks to build a supportive network to illuminate the needs of stroke survivors and improve their quality of life.
