Scsu Homecoming 5 K

Come out and show your husky spirit while staying active with alumni, family, friends, and community. The SCSU Homecoming 5k is one of the most anticipated events during Homecoming week. The 5k run/walk will take you through the SCSU Campus and down through the beautiful beaver trail. At our race, we will have a quality presentation with RPM Athletics Timing Service to help this Homecoming 5k. The timing service will be providing full automatic timing, mile splits throughout the run/walk, and instant 5k times emailed directly to you after the race. 

This year, the registration fee will be 35.00. This fee includes a t-shirt if you register before September 18th. Anyone that registers after September 18th will not receive a T-shirt. Same day registration will be $45. 

There will be a late registration period on October 7th, which is the day of the race. Late registration will be held October 7th from 7-8a at the Husky Stadium Box Office. 

The starting line will be inside of the Husky Stadium. The finish line will be located in the same place, which is the Husky Stadium. Check-In will be located in front of the Husky Stadium Box Office at 7:00am. There will be volunteers stationed throughout the course to make sure runners are running in the correct direction.

There will also be volunteers directing participants where to park as well. Designated parking lot will be communicated well for the day of the race. 

Hydration stations will be provided throughout the race. You are encouraged to bring your own beverages as well. There will also be some healthy refreshments provided at the race. 

After the race, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for all age categories. There will also be awards for the FASTEST Male and Female participant, as well as the FASTEST student. We will also be handing out raffle tickets for some giveaways AFTER the race.
